As a Senior Project Manager, Brett executes complex structural analysis and design of foundation elements and building superstructures using the firm’s vast computer resources. He is proficient in finite element analysis and in overseeing drawing and 3D modeling development to ensure responsible, coordinated and economical designs that are clearly and thoroughly documented for bidding and construction. Brett is an expert in all forms of structural systems including structural steel, cast-in-place concrete, precast concrete, masonry, cold-formed metal framing (CFMF) and building façade systems. He has been the Lead Engineer on many of the firm’s most complex and challenging projects and is ultra-responsive to the needs of projects during all phases.
Mr. Mace earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with Structural Emphasis from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. With 15 years of experience as a Structural Engineer, he has worked extensively with Autodesk Revit and other engineering design tools to develop structural drawings.
